MLK Jr. Week
Hello families,
Hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend and celebrated MLK Jr. Day.
This week is full of exciting things!! On Tuesday we are celebrating the 100th day of school!!!! All day the students will be engaged in literacy and math activities that focus on the number 100.
In literacy the students will be studying Martin Luther King Jr. and learning about the difference his influence made on the world.
In math the students will be practicing their subtraction and learning new strategies to help them when adding and subtracting.
Coming home this week is a research project for the students to complete! The students were able to choose one individual who has made a difference in our world! The students have all week and weekend to complete the research.
Finally, Friday is our Family Gathering!!! Please join us!
Enjoy the week!!!
